Here are some pictures from our "Animals and Their Enviornment" assembly. We had such a great time learning about some different animals in the world! Thanks, Mr. Rubilotta, for setting up this assembly! :)
This is Yolanda Hill Justice Mother. This is a really nice classroom blog and the kids seem to have really enjoyed the Animals. I want to take this time to say thank you. Great Job!
I graduated from Villa Julie College, located in Stevenson, MD. I grew up in Charles County and went to Arthur Middleton Elemetary, Benjamin Stoddert Middle, and La Plata High School. This is my second year as a 3rd grade teacher at Mary Burgess Neal Elementary.
No more spelling words for the year. Enjoy the summer!

Homework Assignments
Spelling:
Students are to complete one tic-tac-toe box a night using their Tic-Tac-Toe spelling grid. By Thursday mornings, students should have completed a tic-tac-toe, three in a row. Thursday night's homework is to study the spelling words for the test on Friday.
Reading:
Students should read for at least 20 minutes each night. (Now that we are in the third quarter, we should be reading for 20 minutes, rather than 15.) They should also get their yellow reading log signed indicating that they did their homework. This log should be in your child's Homework Folder. Reading homework is not counted unless it's signed.
Math:
Students will usually have a math worksheet that focuses on skills that were taught that day in math class.
